Artificial Animals

My Artificial Animals series looks at how we, in modern society, assign animals made of plastic, fiberglass, stone, and metal to tasks. These animals are not designed to honor the species itself, but are deployed to guard a ranch gate, reinforce a political statement, or attract customers from the highway. These animals are solitary, separated from the rest of the herd. Their images are captured with simple, plastic toy cameras.
